The Nameless One
He is the nameless one. Tainted by the need for something commodious, he has a hard edge. Born a reject among the Demons of the Flame he was cast out as a imp expected to die. This was not the end but the beginning of his story. No rules apply when the nameless one is involved. He made his own rules. That was until the day he found a soul mate. Even demons have soul mates. Even a hard edged reject could change...right?
I wanted to work with metallics so I first primed him in black and black ink. Then mixed my own red from blood red and fiery red with a tint of red ink and dry brushed his skin. I finished the skin with a highlight of Dwarven bronze using this same bronze over the fur and wings. I highlighted with a pearl gold and back again to bronze, this gave the bronze a worn look. I wanted his staff to be bone as well as the horns. There are crushed diamond dust in the eyes of the staff. His sword is not the usual flame sword but one from a fellow demon of the flame that lost a fight with the nameless one, as well as the staff (The losers spine). Normally the Demons of the Flame are given a sword in training, but as he pulled this one out of the losers hands it sprang forth with metallic flame in attuned to the nameless ones own unusual metallic gleam. The flames are a combination of every metalic paint I own. I adorned the pommel with diamonds but made the pommel jet black as well as the hooves for starkness. He stands on a path of charcoal. I never hesitate once I start painting it just all comes together good or bad I just love my work. So here he is still searching for the soul mate he only met once....
