Abyst

Now some words about my work:

First of all i made little changes on Abyst that you can easily see: the sword in the left hand and the spine ( i curved it, like a real human spine) in the right one. Then i cracked the hooves, that now are like cows ones. I painted Abyst from a black base coat, with several layers of red to obtain a devilish (and hot!) red skin finish. Horns, hooves and the hair are painted with a warm tone, made with a base of Citadel Bleached Bone, and several washes of Citadel Flesh Wash and Brown Wash; highlight with Vallejo's Ocre Yellow.

Then i painted the scaly armour with Vallejo's Deep Blue, with borders painted with Citadel Shining Gold. Wings are painted with Citadel Scab Red with a wash of Citadel Red Wash and highlighted with Citadel Dwarf Flesh. I made many little black spots on the back of wings, forming little howling faces. i imagine that they represent the lost souls captured and..eated by Abyst!. The spine is painted in Citadel Bleached Bone, with a wash of Flesh Wash. Highlight with Bleached Bone + Citadel Skull White.

Ok, i hope you'll like my work.;)
