Sirithis the Demon Princess

I decided that I wanted a reddish skintone, but straight red is fairly time-consuming to do over black. I toyed around mixing a royal purple and a deep red with a little umber until I got the tone I wanted. I built it up with more red and purple, leaving it fairly flat-looking (not so much as in the photo, but so it goes). The hair I did blonde, which didn't work, so I redid it in a dirty blonde that came out more or less by accident. . . I mean, trial and error. I didn't like the second sword, so I clipped it off. I figured she needed something to squeeze, so I modeled her a pet snake from 2-part epoxy. I added a little nipple ring to the "offending" (?) nipple and put a small worm or snake in the front skull. I tried to keep the miniature fairly low-key overall, which isn't typical of my style -- I usually highlight with a color noticably lighter than the base.
