I extended the miniatureīs base with some rock cast out of plaster of paris. Woodland Scenics has
a few very nice rock moulds in different sizes.
Than I glued the miniature to a pedestal. This is actually a turned round plastic speaker foot.
The ember is made of modeltrain gravel.
The whip was added after all was finished, cause I didnīt like the toysword.
I also removed the odd rune like things on the other blade. I didnīt like those either.
After priming with white automotiv primer through my airbrush I set the miniature aside and
thought about a colorscheme for it.
I had this picture of a blue skinned waternymph with yellow hair by Keith Parkinson. So this was
the chance to give it a try on the Demonprincess. The rest was pretty strait forward.
After I was almost finished I replaced the left sword with a whip made out of a lenght of brass
wire. As I was almost finished I didnīt wanted to resculpt the handle of the sword, to not to damage
the paintjob so far, I left it as it was and only removed a bit of the hilt. So it became the bonewhip.
The last thing was to paint tattoos to the belly and chest and a tiny pentagram to the skull at the
front of the base.
I sealed the piece with a layer of flat laquer through my airbrush.
